Hector Berlioz's Les Troyens has been one of my favorite operas. Starting with Collin Davis's groundbreaking recording Berlioz: Les Troyens (which I purchased in early s in college years), I fell immediately in love with this masterpiece. My first Philips CD player had to spin these 4 CDs countless times and that, I am sure, partially /5.
